Oaks City Tavern. Enough aura to fill a room.
A commercial construction firm's internal café space needed to become a hospitality experience — one that could hold its own as a showpiece, an event venue, and a first impression for clients walking the building.

The Brief
Inside Zackery Michael’s commercial headquarters sat something unusual: a café and event space that doubled as proof of concept. Oaks City Tavern wasn’t open to the public. It was built to show clients what ZM could do. That meant every detail had to earn its place.
ScaleCraft handled the environmental branding: the signage and graphics that made the space feel like a real hospitality destination rather than a corporate amenity. From the entrance facade with engraved wood lettering to laser-cut coasters, handcrafted menu boards, and a food menu designed to sit confidently on the table; the work had to communicate craft, heritage, and intention.
The brief was essentially: make this feel like it’s been here for thirty years. The “Est. 1995” mark on the entrance sign wasn’t accidental. Neither was anything else.
