A general contracting venture needed a credible brand before the first contract was signed. One built to hold its own against established players from the first day.
OAKS Construction was still in formation; a general contracting offshoot of an existing client relationship when ScaleCraft was brought in. The ask was fundamentally conceptual: before a single contract was signed or a crew was hired, what would this company look like to the market?
The answer had to do real work. Construction is a relationship business, and first impressions in the field: on a truck, on a building, on a business card handed across a table; carry weight that a website never will. The brand needed to feel established before the company was.
Working from the OAKS name and its connection to the Zackery Michael parent brand, ScaleCraft built an identity that could carry that pedigree while standing on its own: dark, confident, and built for the environments where construction companies actually live — signage, vehicles, and glass.
